Duties:

General Description:

Welcome guests to the library and provide routine directional assistance. Refer questions to Reference, Circulation, Technology Help Desk, and other Library service points as appropriate. Help patrons find books and study rooms on the Library 3rd floor. Other tasks may include shelving, shelf reading, and special projects. Act as a liaison between library users and staff, as well as contributing to the overall coordination of the efforts of the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia Community College Library.

Duties include:

  • Assisting library users with informational questions and making referrals as needed
  • Showing patrons where to find study rooms and library materials
  • Basic bibliographic checking and searching
  • Other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Work Study financial aid award
    • Excellent public service skills and a positive, outgoing attitude, must enjoy working with library patrons
    • Ability to work independently
