15 or more per week, as required:  negotiable and flexible.

Limited duration:  one month

• Assistance in creating an exhibit at UW libraries with an installation date of 25 February, 2013
• Design posters, create timeline and display other textual materials
• Assistance with exhibit installation
• Will work closely with the south Asian Studies Librarian for content and theme of the exhibit.  Student will create posters and other exhibit materials using Microsoft Publisher or Powerpoint, Illustrator

• Ability to design posters, timeline and other exhibit materials
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Publisher and Powerpoint

• Some experience in design work or experience in creating exhibits.
• Experience with Microsoft Publisher, Powerpoint or Illustrator.

This exhibit is in conjunction with a book launch for "Roots and Reflections:  South Asians in the Pacific Northwest", published by University of Washington Press.  This book is based on the South Asian Oral History Project of the University of Washington Libraries.  This exhibit will get some media coverage during the launch event.
