Rate:

$9.19 per hour

Hours:

5 - 10 hours per week.

Hours between 9 - 6 Monday through Friday; no evenings or weekends.

Duties:

  • Transliterate titles and serial issue numbers.
  • Input bibliographic and order records for titles received in Thai, Lao, Indonesian, Malay, and Vietnamese.
  • Check vendor catalogs against library holdings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of at least one Southeast Asia language.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Highly accurate typing skills; minimum speed 40 wpm.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Willing to learn computer procedures and Library of Congress transliteration schedules.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preference for Indonesian/Malaysian or Vietnamese language.
