Foster Business Library

Group Study Rooms

The Foster Business Library has eight group study rooms available, seating from five and eleven students each, depending on the size of the room. Group study room number one, nearest the stairs to the second floor, seats ten to eleven students; rooms numbered two to seven seat from six to seven students; group study room eight seats five. Rooms may be checked out by groups of two or more students for up to two hours.

All rooms are equipped with a white board, pens, erasers, power, and both wireless and Ethernet Internet connections. Rooms two and three have live phone lines that can be used for conference calls, phones may be checked out at the Circulation Desk. (Note, you cannot call long distance without a UWATS code).

Reservations may be made up to one week in advance at the Foster Business Library Circulation Desk in person, by phone (206-543-4360), or by e-mail to buslib@u.washington.edu. We will hold your reservation for a 15 minute window; after that, your reservation may be given to other users. To gain access to the room, a key to the room must be checked out from the library's Circulation Desk. The room is treated like Reserve Material; fines accrue if the key is not returned on time.

For other group study rooms in the UW Libraries system, see UW Libraries Study Rooms and Labs.
