SciFinder Scholar


SciFinder Scholar is an intelligent interface which helps users to easily search the extensive Chemical Abstracts Databases. Searches can be done by subject phrases, author names and chemical identification such as structure/substructure, reactions, molecular formulae and more. it is available to UW Seattle students, faculty and staff only. there are now 2 options-the traditional client and the new Web version. The Web version does not have all the options of the client version yet but does have most of them. One new feature is the ability to receive automatic updates when new articles on your subject come out. Both versions will remain available but we do still have only the 8 seats total.
