Please note: If you have a previous version of SciFinder scholar, it is best to install the new version in the same folder as the old version. If you are setting up SciFinder Scholar for the first time, please follow the instructions provided.
Accelrys ViewerLite Version 5.0, a free 3-d viewer is available for download from the ftp site as well. Please be sure to read the instructions!
We have a limit of 7 simultaneous users so please be courteous to other users! Courtesy means not reading electronic journals via chemport while still connected to SciFinder. When you do this, you are blocking access to SciFinder which someone else might need. The best way to read electronic journals is to connect from the libraries' Online Catalog. If denied connection because 7 users are already connected, please wait several moments before trying to connect again. This will save your nerves and give us more realistic statistics on usage. If you have any questions about loading the client, please call 543-1603 or email chemlib@u.washington.edu.
