2M flyerIf you need an area for group projects, the 2M Group Study Room on the second floor of 234M Gowen Hall at the East Asia Library is the perfect space for you.  Reserve 2M at the Circulation Desk.

This is a space dedicated for library related instructional use, student group discussion.

]]> No publisher mauerh 2012-01-13T00:05:00Z Page Changes in Collection Locations http://lib.washington.edu/east-asia/events/changes-in-collection-locations-1 East Asia Library's serials collections have been moved from West Stacks in Gowen Hall to EAL Auxiliary Stacks in Kane Hall.  Current display journals are located in EAL Reading-room with the less frequently used ones in Room 9 of Smith Hall. EAL rare book and special collection materials are staged in Smith 9 and will be moved to West Stacks in the Spring 2013.  Due to the Gowen Hall rewiring project, part of the collections with call numbers ranging from HD - K have been moved to a temporary location in EAL Auxiliary Stacks in Kane Hall.  Any questions relating to collection locations, please ask EAL staff for assistance.

Place: Allen Auditorium, Allen Library, University of Washington Seattle Time: 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013. Program: Please see attached. The event is open to the public free of charge. UW East Asia Library and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office will co-host a post SIFF forum about Taiwan films at UW in Seattle. Scholars, librarians, and journalists will discuss the four Taiwanese films shown at the 2013 Seattle International Film Festival.

This is a free event and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
