Directions to the Engineering Library
The Engineering Library is located on the East side of the University of Washington Campus. We are on Stevens Way (the main road that runs through campus) directly across the street from the south end of the HUB (Student Union Building). The closest bus stop to the Engineering Library is directly across the street at the HUB (Husky Union Building).

Warning about parking on campus
Parking on campus is restricted most of the time. Do not park in loading zones, or other restricted areas as you will be ticketed and/or towed. For more information about parking on campus, consult Parking Services - Parking for Visitors.Directions from I-5
Take exit 169 from I-5 (also marked 45th Street exit and/or University of Washington). Go east on 45th street about 1 mile. (You will cross Roosevelt, 11th, 12th, Brooklyn, University Way aka "the Ave", and 15th). The corner of 15th and 45th street is the beginning of Campus. About 1/2 block after the 15th street crossing is the main entrance to campus on the right side of the street.If there is a parking attendant on duty stop and tell them you are going to the Engineering Library and pay for parking. The charge for parking on campus is $12.00 and the attendant will assign you to a lot. Ask them for a campus map. If you do get lost while on campus, ask someone for directions to the HUB. Most people are unlikely to know the location of the Engineering Library (unless they are an Engineering student) but most every person on campus can direct you to the HUB.
If there is not a parking attendant on duty, read and understand all signs and warnings prior to parking in a lot or space.
Directions from SR-520
Take the Montlake exit from 520. You will then merge on Montlake Boulevard. Take this street North past Husky Stadium and the Montlake Student Parking lot. Get in the left turn lane for 25th Ave. There is a light at this intersection which will make you go to the left of the "Y" in the road. (The right turn will take you out by Children's Hospital). At the next light (Pend Oreille Road) make a left onto Campus.
