Odegaard Library Room 220

Odegaard Library Room 220 is a multipurpose event space located on the 2nd floor of Odegaard Library. Odegaard Library is accessible to current UW students, faculty, and staff only and requires a valid Husky Card for entry.
About
  • Room 220 is suitable for meetings, lectures, workshops, and receptions hosted by UW organizations for the benefit of the UW community. It is not suitable for events with non-UW attendees or for use as a classroom.
  • Room 220 is not equipped for interactive online/hybrid meetings (unless you bring your own technology).

Rental Rates
    Fees are levied in half hour increments, with a 2-hour minimum charge.

    • University organizations holding an event for students, faculty, and/or staff only: $50/hour
    • University organizations holding an event for students, faculty, and/or staff with (very limited) non-UW attendees: $60/hour
      • Odegaard Library requires a list of all non-UW attendees at least 2 days in advance of the event date.
      • The UW Office of Special Programs requires a UUF Application to be submitted 3 weeks in advance of any event with non-UW attendees.
    • Room set up and breakdown/clean-up by Libraries staff: $50/hour
    Cancellations

    Requests to cancel your event must be submitted in writing to ougl@uw.edu. Once the reservation is confirmed, cancellation fee is assessed at the following rates:

    • 8 - 30 Days Prior to Event: 50% of Estimated Room Rental
    • 0 – 7 Days Prior to Event: 100% of Estimated Room Rental

    The default room set-up is lecture style (pictured above). There is no additional charge for default set-up.

    • Lecture (100 seated): Chairs only
    • Workshop (maximum 72 seated, each pod seats 6): Tables in chevron configuration
    • Conference (26 seated): Boardroom-style meeting table and chairs
    • Reception (120 standing): No tables or chairs
