Get an Article

  1. Choose the best database for your topic. You can choose a database by subject or browse our list of databases. [help me!]
  2. Search the database using keywords that are relevant to your topic. Once you find an article you'd like to read, check to see if there is a "UW Holdings" link. If so, click that link as that service will automatically try to find the full text of the article for you. If it does not succeed, you will get a page with links to search the UW Libraries catalog. We may own it in print.
  3. Click on the links to search. Once you find the journal, note the location, call number, and status of the item you're interested in.
