Children of Minidoka is a collaborative project of a group of students in Asian American Studies 372 taught by Professor Tetsuden Kashima and under the direction of librarians, Theresa Mudrock and Glenda Pearson.

  • Christina Burrows
    Christina is a Women Studies Major with a track in Social Services and a minor in Italian.
  • Nathaniel Eng
    Nathaniel is a senior majoring in American Ethnic Studies and Communications -Journalism. His research interests are literature with a focus on ethnic and multiethnic biographies. He hopes to enter graduate school and pursue a career in teaching of American ethnic literature.
  • Josielynn Estrella
    Josielynn is a senior majoring in American Ethnic Studies and minoring in International Studies. Her research interests is Asian American politics and she hopes to work for the foreign services in the US consulate.
  • Alexandria Johns
    Alexandria is a graduating Senior majoring in American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington.
  • Julie Kim
    Julie is a senior majoring in American Ethnic Studies, hoping to enter the School of Social Work for graduate studies.
  • Jill MacInnes
    Jill is a senior majoring in American Ethnic Studies, graduating in 2004. She loves books and children and plans to combine her two loves and become a children's librarian.
