Julie CookEngineering Reference Librarian Email: julesck@u.washington.edu As Engineering Reference Librarian, I provide reference and research assistance to the patrons of the Engineering Library. I am also the Library liaison to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, which involves supporting the research and teaching needs of the faculty, students and staff in the department. This includes purchasing materials, providing research assistance and instructing students in research methods. Other responsibilities include selecting materials for the Engineering reference collection, including standards, creating and maintaining webpages on the Engineering Library website, and training student reference assistants.
