Justin Wadland, UW Tacoma Librarian, wins Washington State Book Award
History of an anarchist utopia on Puget Sound takes Nonfiction prize
Trying Home: The Rise and Fall of an Anarchist Utopia on Puget Sound (Oregon State University Press) by UW Tacoma Librarian and Tacoma resident Justin Wadland has been awarded a 2015 Washington State Book Award in the General / Nonfiction category.
The awards are administered by the Washington Center for the Book at the Seattle Public Library.
To be eligible, an author must have been born in Washington State or is a current resident and has maintained residence here for at least three years.
The winners were announced on October 10 at an awards celebration at the Seattle Public Library.
